A retail pharmacy role is available for a licensed pharmacist with experience in retail pharmacy settings. This contract position involves working primarily daytime shifts with a set schedule, requiring some flexibility to travel.

Location: Janesville, WI
Schedule:

• 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Every other Monday
• Every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday through the end of the year

Responsibilities:

• Dispense and verify prescriptions accurately in a retail pharmacy environment
• Provide patient counseling and education regarding medication use
• Utilize the Pioneer RX computer system for prescription processing and record-keeping
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and pharmacy staff to ensure optimal patient care
• Maintain compliance with state pharmacy laws and regulations

Qualifications:

• Current Wisconsin pharmacy license
• Proven retail pharmacy experience
• Experience with Pioneer RX is preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage time effectively during a consistent, but occasionally variable, schedule
