Staff Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy | Janesville, Wisconsin

This position offers an excellent opportunity for a retail pharmacist with experience in pharmacy operations and patient care. The role involves working primarily during daytime hours, providing pharmaceutical services in a retail environment, and requires travel flexibility.

Location:

• Janesville, WI (travel required)

Schedule/Hours:

• Days, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Every other Monday, and every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday through the end of the year

Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
• Counsel patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements
• Utilize Pioneer RX computer system for prescription processing and inventory management
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and pharmacy staff to optimize patient care

Qualifications:

• Valid Wisconsin pharmacy license is mandatory
• Previous experience working in retail pharmacy settings
• Proficiency with Pioneer RX is preferred but not required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and handle a fast-paced environment
