Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist in Janesville, WI

This opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist with recent retail experience seeking flexible, per diem work. The position involves working multiple shifts, primarily in a retail pharmacy setting, with hours ranging from early morning to evening. Candidates will provide medication dispensing, patient counseling, and ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.

Location: Janesville, WI

Schedule/Hours:

• 3/10: 2pm–8pm
• 3/11: 7:45am–4pm
• 3/16: 7:45am–4pm
• 3/18: 7:45am–8pm (shift can be split)
• 3/19: 7:45am–8pm (shift can be split)
• 3/20: 7:45am–8pm (shift can be split)
• 3/21: 8:45am–6pm
• 3/22: 9:45am–5pm

Qualifications:

• Active Wisconsin Pharmacist License
• Minimum of 1 year recent retail pharmacy experience
• Strong knowledge of retail pharmacy operations and medication dispensing
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications following protocols
• Counsel patients on drug usage, side effects, and interactions
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of medications
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
