Retail Staff Pharmacist - Keno, OR

A retail pharmacist opportunity is available for a contract role in Klamath Falls, OR, focusing on outpatient pharmacy services. This position offers the chance to work across multiple retail pharmacy locations within a short distance of each other, providing variety and exposure to different environments within the same healthcare system.

Schedule & Hours:

• 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
• Monday to Friday: 7:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 5:15 PM
• Some Saturdays are included in the schedule

Duration:

• 13-week contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify, fill, and check prescriptions ensuring patient safety
• Oversee pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow and accuracy
• Counsel patients on prescription medications and over-the-counter products
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and best practices
• Support retail operations across multiple nearby pharmacy sites within the health system

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Oregon Pharmacy license
• Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience
• Ability to commit to full-time availability, including scheduled weekends
