Staff Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy - Klamath Falls, Oregon

An immediate opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist specializing in retail/outpatient pharmacy practice. This contract position offers a dynamic work environment within a health system comprising multiple retail pharmacy locations, all situated within close proximity to one another, allowing for float responsibilities.

Location:

• Klamath Falls, OR

Schedule:

• 10-hour shifts, four days per week
• Monday to Friday: 7:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 5:15 PM
• Some Saturdays required

Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify, fill, and check prescriptions
• Provide oversight and guidance to pharmacy technicians
• Counsel patients regarding prescription and over-the-counter medications
• Float between several retail pharmacy sites within a 5-mile radius to ensure coverage and support

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Current Oregon pharmacist license
• Minimum of one year of retail or outpatient pharmacy experience
• Availability for a full-time schedule, including Saturdays
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient care and safety

Contract Details:

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Travel pharmacist assignment with flexibility to float between nearby locations
