Retail Staff Pharmacist in Klamath Falls, OR

This opportunity is for a retail/outpatient pharmacist position based in Klamath Falls, OR, designed for licensed professionals ready to bring their expertise to a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract role spans 13 weeks and involves working closely with a health system's pharmacy team within the local area, providing excellent patient care through versatile and hands-on pharmacist duties.

Location: Klamath Falls, Oregon
Schedule:

• 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
• Monday to Friday: 7:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Saturdays: 8:00 AM to 5:15 PM
• Floating between pharmacy sites within approximately 5 miles

Key Responsibilities:

• Verifying, filling, and checking prescriptions accurately
• Supervising and providing guidance to pharmacy technicians
• Counseling patients on prescription and over-the-counter medications
• Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and safety protocols

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Oregon pharmacist license required
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a pharmacist
• Availability to work full-time including some Saturdays
• Strong communication and patient service skills
• Ability to float between locations within the Klamath Falls area
