An opportunity is available for a retail pharmacist to support outpatient pharmacy operations in Klamath Falls, OR. This contract position offers a chance to work within a health system where you will float among multiple retail pharmacy locations located within a five-mile radius, providing varied and dynamic work settings.

Schedule and Hours:

  • Four 10-hour shifts per week, including some Saturdays
  • Monday to Friday: 7:45 AM to 7:15 PM
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM to 5:15 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify, fill, and check prescriptions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide professional oversight and guidance to pharmacy technicians
  • Counsel patients on prescription medications, over-the-counter treatments, and general medication safety
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care
  • Float between retail pharmacy locations as required within the health system

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Oregon pharmacist license is required
  • Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience
  • Availability for full-time work, including weekends and flexible shifts
  • Strong communication and patient counseling skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to rotating locations
