This opportunity is for an experienced Staff Pharmacist to support retail and outpatient pharmacy services in Klamath Falls, OR. The role requires providing expert pharmaceutical care, verifying prescriptions, overseeing pharmacy technicians, and counseling patients on both prescription and over-the-counter medications. You will float between multiple nearby pharmacy locations within the area, ensuring efficient pharmacy operations and excellent patient service.

Schedule and Hours:

  • Four 10-hour shifts per week (4/7 schedule)
  • Monday to Friday: 7:45 AM – 7:15 PM
  • Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 5:15 PM
  • Float among pharmacy sites within approximately 5 miles

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately verify and fill prescriptions while maintaining patient safety
  • Oversee pharmacy technician workflow and provide guidance as needed
  • Deliver clear and compassionate patient counseling on medication usage and side effects
  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and quality standards
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current Oregon pharmacist license
  • Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience
  • Ability to independently manage workflow and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Full-time availability including Saturdays
