Retail Staff Pharmacist - Klamath Falls, OR

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Pharmacy professional to support retail/outpatient services in Klamath Falls, OR. This 13-week contract position offers a chance to work within a health system where you will float among several pharmacy locations clustered within a five-mile radius. The role demands a dedicated pharmacist to ensure safe, accurate medication dispensing and patient counseling in a dynamic environment.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Monday to Friday: 7:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 5:15 PM
• Some Saturdays required

Responsibilities include:

• Verifying and filling prescriptions with accuracy and attention to detail
• Overseeing the work of pharmacy technicians to maintain quality
• Counseling patients on prescription and over-the-counter medications, ensuring understanding and adherence
• Managing daily pharmacy operations in the retail/outpatient setting

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Oregon pharmacist license
• Minimum of one year of pharmacy practice experience
• Full-time availability to meet scheduling needs
• Strong communication and organizational skills
