Retail Staff Pharmacist in Klamath Falls, OR

A contract opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist specializing in retail/outpatient pharmacy services in the Klamath Falls, OR area. This role requires a licensed Oregon pharmacist to provide comprehensive medication management and support at multiple retail pharmacy locations within close proximity to one another.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verifying and accurately filling prescriptions
• Conducting thorough prescription checks for accuracy and safety
• Providing oversight and guidance to pharmacy technicians
• Counseling patients on prescription medications and over-the-counter (OTC) products
• Ensuring compliance with pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Valid Oregon pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient counseling
• Ability to manage multiple pharmacy sites with a floating schedule

Schedule & Location:

• 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week, including some Saturdays
• Hours: Monday–Friday 7:45 AM – 7:15 PM, Saturdays 8:00 AM – 5:15 PM
• Work will be performed across several retail pharmacies located within approximately 5 miles of each other in Klamath Falls

Contract Details:

• Duration: 13 weeks
