A retail pharmacy opportunity is available for an Indiana Licensed Pharmacist to support a community pharmacy serving local patients. This contract role begins June 29th and provides consistent weekday hours with some weekend coverage.
Responsibilities include accurately entering patient information and orders, verifying technician-prepared prescriptions before release, and maintaining security of the pharmacy and controlled substances. Experience working in a retail pharmacy environment is essential to succeed.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Indiana Pharmacist license
- Retail pharmacy experience required
- Familiarity with PioneerRx order entry system preferred
- Detail-oriented with strong accuracy skills
- Commitment to maintaining controlled substance security
Location: Knox, Indiana (local candidates only)
Schedule:
- 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Every other Saturday coverage, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Additional Details:
- Three days of paid training and orientation prior to start
- Business casual dress code
- This contract position offers ongoing work until a permanent hire is made
