Retail Staff Pharmacist in Knox, IN

A retail pharmacy position is available for a licensed Indiana pharmacist at a community pharmacy setting. This role offers an opportunity to engage in comprehensive pharmacy practice within a supportive environment, ensuring accurate medication dispensing and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill prescriptions and verify technician-prepared products before release
• Maintain pharmacy security and controlled substances integrity
• Enter orders and patient information with precision
• Collaborate with staff to support daily pharmacy operations

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must hold a valid Indiana Pharmacist license
• Prior retail pharmacy experience required
• Familiarity with PioneerRx order entry system preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Local candidates only for ease of commute and training adherence

Work Schedule:

• 40 hours per week: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Weekend rotation: every other Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Additional Details:

• Three days of training and orientation required before starting the role
• Dress code is business casual to maintain a professional atmosphere
• This is a contract assignment starting June 29th with ongoing coverage until a permanent hire is made
