Travel Retail Staff Pharmacist - Lakeport, CA

A travel opportunity is available for an experienced Staff Pharmacist to work in an outpatient/retail pharmacy environment. This position requires a California license and offers the chance to contribute to a 340B pharmacy, making prior exposure to 340B pharmacy programs highly valuable.

Location: Lakeport, CA
Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:45 AM to 5:45 PM

Duration: 13 weeks or more, with an ASAP start

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in an outpatient/retail setting
• Counsel patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and any precautions
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and policies, including those specific to 340B programs
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient medication therapies
• Maintain meticulous records of prescriptions and patient information

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid California Pharmacist license required
• Minimum of 1 year experience in outpatient or retail pharmacy settings
• Familiarity with the 340B drug pricing program is a significant advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and healthcare teams
