A travel opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist to work in an outpatient/retail pharmacy setting. This position offers the chance to support a 340B pharmacy, so prior experience with 340B programs is highly desirable.
Location: Lakeport, CA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM to 5:45 PM
Duration: 13+ weeks, with an ASAP start
Responsibilities include:
- Dispensing pharmaceuticals accurately and efficiently in the outpatient/retail setting
- Providing patient counseling on medications and health conditions
- Supporting 340B program compliance and operations
- Collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure optimal medication use
- Maintaining thorough, accurate records and inventory management
Qualifications:
- Active California pharmacist license required
- Minimum of 1 year outpatient or retail pharmacy experience
- Full-time availability for the duration of the assignment
- Familiarity with 340B pharmacy programs is a strong advantage
