Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy | Laporte, Minnesota

An opportunity is available for skilled pharmacists to provide per diem support at multiple retail pharmacy sites in Minnesota. This role focuses on delivering expert pharmaceutical care in both long-term care and retail settings, ensuring patients receive accurate and timely medication management and counseling.

Locations and Dates:

• Walker, MN: May 14th & 15th
• Sandstone, MN: May 14th & 15th
• Warroad, MN: May 14th & 15th
• Wells, MN: May 14th & 15th

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive dispensing of medications in retail and specialty pharmacy settings
• Manage long-term care medication distribution and documentation
• Provide patient counseling on medication use, side effects, and adherence
• Conduct immunizations in accordance with certification and protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory pharmacy standards

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist with PharmD degree preferred
• Immunization Certification required
• CPR Certification mandatory
• Medication Therapy Management (MTM) certification is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience in retail and long-term care pharmacy practice
