An opportunity is available for skilled pharmacists to provide per diem support at multiple retail pharmacy sites in Minnesota. This role focuses on delivering expert pharmaceutical care in both long-term care and retail settings, ensuring patients receive accurate and timely medication management and counseling.
Locations and Dates:
- Walker, MN: May 14th & 15th
- Sandstone, MN: May 14th & 15th
- Warroad, MN: May 14th & 15th
- Wells, MN: May 14th & 15th
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive dispensing of medications in retail and specialty pharmacy settings
- Manage long-term care medication distribution and documentation
- Provide patient counseling on medication use, side effects, and adherence
- Conduct immunizations in accordance with certification and protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory pharmacy standards
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Licensed Pharmacist with PharmD degree preferred
- Immunization Certification required
- CPR Certification mandatory
- Medication Therapy Management (MTM) certification is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience in retail and long-term care pharmacy practice
