Per Diem Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy | Las Vegas, Nevada

Provide expert pharmaceutical care in a specialized retail HIV/AIDS pharmacy environment with per diem availability starting June 1st. This role offers a unique opportunity to independently manage a smaller volume pharmacy (20-35 prescriptions daily) without the support of a pharmacy technician, emphasizing autonomy and responsibility.

Schedule:

• Monday, June 1: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Tuesday, June 2: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Wednesday, June 3: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Wednesday, June 10: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Training will be provided before June 1st to prepare you for this role

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and provide professional pharmaceutical care to patients
• Manage prescription volume independently within a single-pharmacist setup
• Maintain strong communication and support with patients and healthcare providers
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and protocols
• Utilize QS1 pharmacy software effectively for all daily operations
• Uphold a high standard of patient care and service in a specialty pharmacy setting

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Nevada pharmacy license is required
• Experience working as a retail staff pharmacist, preferably in HIV/AIDS specialty pharmacy or similar environment
• Ability to manage a volume of 20-35 prescriptions per day independently
• Excellent communication skills with patients and providers
• Commitment to consistent attendance and punctuality
• Positive, proactive approach to pharmacy operations and patient care
