Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist - Lawrence, KS

This pharmacy role offers an opportunity to work in a retail setting providing essential pharmaceutical care on a per diem basis. The position supports patient health through prescription verification, patient counseling, and typical outpatient pharmacy duties with a focus on quality and accuracy.

Schedule:

• One day per week, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Every third Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Location: Lawrence, KS

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and dispense low volume prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Provide patient counseling to ensure understanding of medication use and safety
• Perform standard outpatient pharmacy duties, maintaining compliance with regulations and pharmacy policies

Qualifications:

• Valid Kansas Pharmacist License required
• Previous experience in retail or outpatient pharmacy settings preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills to effectively counsel patients and collaborate with healthcare team members
