Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist - Lima, OH

A retail pharmacist opportunity is available to provide vacation coverage at a community health center pharmacy managed by a national healthcare distributor. This per diem assignment runs from Monday, June 22 through Friday, June 26, with shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Located about one hour north of Columbus, OH, this role serves a diverse patient population and offers the chance to work alongside an experienced pharmacy technician to ensure smooth daily operations. The pharmacy operates using the Rx30 system; prior experience with this system is preferred but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform typical retail pharmacy duties including dispensing medications, counseling patients, and managing prescriptions.
• Collaborate closely with a strong pharmacy technician to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations to promote safe medication use.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist authorized to practice in Ohio.
• Retail pharmacy experience is required.
• Prior experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or working with the 340B drug pricing program is highly preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with the Rx30 pharmacy system is a plus.
