Staff Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy | Logansport, Indiana

A retail pharmacy opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to support a community pharmacy in Winamac, IN. This contract role involves filling orders, verifying technician-prepared products, and maintaining the security of pharmacy operations and controlled substances. The position requires strong attention to detail and accuracy in entering orders and patient information.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and verify prescriptions and technician-prepared products prior to release
• Maintain security and compliance of pharmacy and controlled substances
• Enter patient and order information using PioneerRx (experience preferred)
• Provide reliable retail pharmacy services adhering to facility policies and procedures
• Participate in scheduled weekend coverage every other Saturday

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Must hold a valid Indiana Pharmacist license
• Previous retail pharmacy experience required
• Proficiency with PioneerRx order entry system preferred
• Ability to work independently and maintain high accuracy standards
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Schedule/Hours:

• 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Every other Saturday coverage from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Additional Information:

• Three days of paid training and orientation are required prior to starting the assignment

• Local candidates are preferred for this opportunity
• Contract to continue until permanent hire is made, starting June 29th
