Staff Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy - Logansport, Indiana

A retail pharmacy opportunity is available for a licensed Indiana pharmacist to provide critical medication services in a community setting. This contract position begins June 29th and is expected to continue until a permanent hire is secured. Local candidates are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill medication orders and verify technician-prepared products before release
• Maintain pharmacy security and ensure proper handling of controlled substances
• Enter orders and patient information into the system with precision
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient care needs

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Indiana pharmacist license required
• Proven experience in a retail pharmacy environment
• Familiarity with PioneerRx order entry system preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Work Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, 40 hours per week
• Every other Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Orientation and training for 3 days prior to start

• Community pharmacy located locally in Winamac, Indiana
• Business casual dress code
