Retail Staff Pharmacist in Los Alamos, NM

This role offers a flexible day shift schedule in a busy retail pharmacy located in Los Alamos, NM, with hours Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., including rotating weekends. Candidates should be prepared to start their shift between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and daily pharmacy operations
• Deliver excellent customer service and ensure thorough patient counseling
• Verify USP 800 non-sterile compounded prescriptions (verification only; no compounding required)
• Manage workflow in a high-volume pharmacy processing approximately 600 prescriptions per day

Desired Qualifications:

• Active and clear New Mexico Pharmacist License
• Experience or knowledge in non-sterile compounding preferred
• Background in high-volume retail pharmacy is an advantage
