A retail pharmacy opportunity is available in Los Alamos, NM, offering a contract-to-hire position suited for candidates ready to contribute to a busy, community-focused pharmacy. This role involves a daytime shift schedule with flexibility to start at 8:30 or 9:30 a.m., working Monday through Friday with rotating Saturday shifts.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
• Saturday (rotating): 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient operation
• Deliver outstanding customer service and patient counseling
• Verify USP 800 non-sterile compounded prescriptions (verification only; no compounding duties)
• Manage workflow in a high-volume environment processing approximately 600 prescriptions daily
• Utilize the Pioneer pharmacy system for processing

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and clear New Mexico Pharmacist License
• Experience or familiarity with non-sterile compounding preferred
• Background in high-volume retail pharmacy settings considered a plus
