Staff Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy - Madera, California

A retail pharmacist opportunity is available for an experienced professional skilled in managing medium to high volume prescriptions. This role requires hands-on experience in retail pharmacy practice and proficiency with Rx30 software.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 months experience in retail pharmacy practice
• Proficient in managing medium to high volume prescriptions
• Experience using Rx30 pharmacy management software
• Spanish speaking abilities are strongly preferred but not mandatory, as pharmacy technicians provide Spanish support
• Ability and willingness to commute daily within a 30 to 40-minute radius of Fresno, including smaller surrounding communities

Location:

• Madera, CA, with daily commute expected to nearby areas around Fresno

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and counsel patients on prescription use
• Manage prescription filling processes efficiently in a busy retail environment
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain a smooth workflow
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies
• Support pharmacy operations including inventory management and medication verification

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday with an excellent, consistent work schedule
