This role offers an opportunity for a licensed pharmacist to provide expert pharmaceutical care within a retail setting in Madison, WI. The position involves working with a leading pharmacy computer system and delivering high-quality service during daytime hours. The schedule includes shifts from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, as well as every other Monday through the end of the year. This contract role requires a willingness to travel as needed.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Wisconsin pharmacy license
- Experience in retail pharmacy settings
- Familiarity with Pioneer RX pharmacy system is highly preferred
- Ability to manage prescriptions and interact with customers effectively
Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
- Provide patient consultations on medication usage and safety
- Collaborate with healthcare teams for optimal patient care
- Maintain compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations
- Utilize Pioneer RX system for prescription processing and record-keeping
