Retail Staff Pharmacist - Malin, OR

A retail pharmacist opportunity is available to support outpatient pharmacy services in the Klamath Falls area. This 13-week contract position involves working within a health system that operates multiple retail pharmacy locations, with responsibilities spanning across nearby sites within approximately five miles.

Schedule & Hours:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week, including some Saturdays
• Monday to Friday: 7:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 5:15 PM
• Float coverage required among nearby retail pharmacies

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and accurately fill prescriptions for outpatient retail customers
• Oversee pharmacy technicians and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Provide patient counseling on prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medications
• Maintain quality and efficiency in all pharmacy operations

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Oregon pharmacist license
• Minimum of one year retail pharmacy experience
• Strong knowledge of retail pharmacy workflows and outpatient medication management
• Availability to work full-time hours as scheduled
• Ability to float between multiple retail pharmacy locations within the region

Location:

• Primary work location near Malin, with travel to other retail sites in Klamath Falls, OR
