Retail Staff Pharmacist - Malin, OR

A retail pharmacist position is available in the Klamath Falls, OR area to support a health system with multiple locations within five miles of each other. This opportunity offers a 13-week contract engagement, ideal for pharmacists with at least one year of experience and a valid Oregon pharmacist license.

Schedule:

• 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
• Monday through Friday: 7:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM to 5:15 PM
• Some Saturdays required
• Floating between nearby outpatient retail locations

Key Responsibilities:

• Verifying, filling, and checking prescriptions accurately
• Supervising and providing guidance to pharmacy technicians
• Counseling patients on prescription and over-the-counter medications
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations within the retail pharmacy setting

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Oregon pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience
• Flexibility for full-time availability, including Saturdays
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to float between several nearby locations effectively
