A retail-focused pharmacist opportunity is available in the Klamath Falls area, offering a dynamic role on the outpatient side of pharmacy services. This 13-week contract position requires a dedicated professional to provide expert medication management across multiple nearby locations within a short travel radius.
Schedule:
- Four 10-hour shifts per week, including some Saturdays
- Monday to Friday: 7:45 AM – 7:15 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 5:15 PM
Responsibilities:
- Verify, fill, and check prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Oversee pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth daily operations
- Counsel patients on prescription and over-the-counter medication use
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and health system protocols
- Float between several retail pharmacy locations within approximately five miles, supporting pharmacy services across the community
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Oregon pharmacist license
- Minimum of one year of retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Full-time availability to meet scheduling needs
- Strong communication and organizational skills with a patient-centered approach
