Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist in Marana, AZ

Location:

• Tucson, AZ metro area with multiple pharmacies within convenient proximity

Schedule:

• Per diem, flexible hours to support peak times, vacations, and call-outs
• Typical pharmacy hours are Monday through Saturday, 10 AM to 7 PM; some locations may extend to 8 PM
• Ideal candidates available 2-4 days per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
• Provide immunizations and patient counseling
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians, especially in smaller pharmacist-only sites
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
• Participate in an initial 8-hour training session with opportunities for additional training as needed

Qualifications and Experience:

• 1-2 years minimum retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Active immunization certification and current BLS card required
• Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy software is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to handle a daily volume of approximately 100-125 prescriptions
