Per Diem Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy - Medford, Oregon

A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Per Diem Staff Pharmacist to support their retail pharmacy operations in Medford, OR. This role offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional pharmaceutical care in a dynamic environment, emphasizing patient safety and superior customer service.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Available from July 13 through July 24, 2026
• 8.5-hour shifts each day

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications prescribed by physicians and other authorized healthcare practitioners
• Provide expert guidance and accurate information to patients regarding medication usage, side effects, and interactions
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
• Ensure excellent customer service with a patient-centered approach
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Oregon Pharmacist License is required
• Experience in retail pharmacy settings is preferred; long-term care experience is an asset
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare providers
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and safety protocols
