Retail Staff Pharmacist - Merrill, OR

This 13-week contract opportunity is for a Retail Pharmacist position based in Klamath Falls, OR, offering a dynamic and engaging work environment within a health system that supports multiple pharmacy locations. The role involves working primarily on the retail/outpatient side with a schedule designed for work-life balance.

Schedule & Hours:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Monday to Friday: 7:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 5:15 PM
• Some Saturdays required
• Float between pharmacy locations within a five-mile radius

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify, fill, and check prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Oversee pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
• Counsel patients on prescription and over-the-counter medications
• Maintain compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care

Qualifications:

• Active Oregon pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience
• Ability to work full-time with flexible scheduling including Saturdays
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable floating between pharmacy sites nearby
