Retail Staff Pharmacist in Merrill, OR

A retail pharmacist opportunity is available in Klamath Falls, OR, offering a dynamic role within a health system that operates multiple pharmacy locations in close proximity. This contract position spans 13 weeks and requires a licensed pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmacy services on the retail/outpatient side.

Location: Klamath Falls, OR (pharmacist will float between several locations within a 5-mile radius)
Schedule:

• 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
• Monday to Friday: 7:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Some Saturdays: 8:00 AM to 5:15 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Verifying, filling, and checking prescriptions accurately
• Overseeing pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
• Counseling patients on prescription medications as well as over-the-counter options
• Maintaining compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Oregon pharmacist license
• A minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience
• Availability to work full-time, including some weekends
