A Per Diem opportunity is available for a Retail Pharmacist position in Mesa, AZ, offering urgent backfill coverage on Wednesday and Thursday, February 25 and 26, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately fill and dispense medications prescribed by healthcare providers, ensuring patient allergies are verified before dispensing.
- Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and adherence to organizational guidelines.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance patient experience.
- Collaborate effectively with a team consisting of one pharmacist and three pharmacy technicians.
- Utilize the Pioneer Rx system efficiently to manage prescription processes.
- Manage a script volume of under 100 per day, maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- A clear and active Arizona Pharmacist license is mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent retail pharmacy experience.
- Strong communication skills with a patient-focused approach.
- Familiarity with retail pharmacy operations and ability to work independently as needed.
