Per Diem Retail Pharmacist Opportunity – Mesa, AZ Area

A well-established retail pharmacy team operating numerous locations throughout the greater Phoenix area is seeking experienced per diem pharmacists to build a reliable coverage team. This role offers the chance to provide critical support during peak demand periods including graduations, summer vacations, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pharmacy services in a fast-paced retail environment averaging 100-125 prescriptions per day
• Support various stores within a commutable distance, with some travel occasionally required
• Deliver immunizations and maintain patient safety standards
• Utilize QS1 pharmacy system to manage prescriptions and workflow
• Participate in an 8-hour initial training session with options for further training
• Assist with pharmacist-only sites where technician support is limited
• Cover shifts typically scheduled Mon-Sat, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with some locations open later

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 years retail pharmacy experience; preference for 5+ years for higher compensation
• Valid immunization privileges and current BLS certification
• Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy management software is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to maintain flexibility covering 2-4 days weekly as needed
