A retail pharmacy seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated pharmacist to provide support on a per diem basis in Mesa, AZ. Schedule & Location:

• Per Diem
• Preferably Wednesdays and Thursdays
• 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Located in Mesa, Arizona

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and dispense medications as prescribed, ensuring thorough verification of patient allergies and drug interactions
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally according to organizational guidelines
• Deliver outstanding customer service to enhance patient experience
• Collaborate with one other pharmacist and three pharmacy technicians in a retail setting with a prescription volume under 100 per day
• Utilize the Pioneer Rx pharmacy system for prescription processing and documentation

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacist license in the state of Arizona
• Minimum of 2 years recent retail pharmacy experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient and team interactions
• Ability to work independently and manage workflow efficiently during shift
