Per Diem Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy | Mesa, Arizona

A per diem retail pharmacist opportunity is available to support a busy pharmacy team in Mesa, AZ. This role is ideal for a pharmacist with strong retail experience, looking to contribute approximately two days per week, preferably on Wednesdays and Thursdays, during 8:30am to 5:30pm shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and dispense medications prescribed by healthcare providers, ensuring patient safety by verifying allergies and other relevant information.
• Interact with patients professionally by addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints in alignment with organizational standards.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance patient experience and satisfaction.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacist license in the state of Arizona.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
• Familiarity with Pioneer Rx pharmacy system is preferred.
• Ability to work independently alongside one pharmacist and three technicians in a pharmacy with a daily script volume under 100.

Schedule:

• Part-time, per diem basis.
