A healthcare facility is seeking a dedicated pharmacist to support patient-centered care through expert medication management and pharmaceutical services. This contract opportunity based in Milford, OH, offers a Monday to Friday daytime schedule with weekend rotation, ideal for pharmacists licensed in Ohio with hospital experience ready to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.
Location: Milford, OH (serving a healthcare center in Lancaster, OH)
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Every 6th weekend coverage with subsequent weekday off
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately review, interpret, and dispense medication orders and prescriptions
- Monitor and manage medication therapy for effectiveness and safety, tailored to patient age and condition
- Provide clear drug information and counseling to patients, families, and healthcare staff
- Participate in emergency drug therapy management, ensuring readiness and supply availability
- Coordinate day-to-day activities of pharmacy technicians to optimize pharmacy operations
- Uphold departmental policies, quality improvement programs, and regulatory standards

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree from an accredited pharmacy school
- Valid Ohio Pharmacy License in good standing
- Minimum one year of hospital pharmacy experience preferred
