Staff Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy | Minneapolis, Minnesota

This opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist ready to support a busy retail pharmacy located in Minneapolis, MN. The role offers an ongoing contract to hire arrangement with the ultimate goal of permanent placement.

Work Schedule:

• Monday through Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• 40 hours per week, with some flexibility for relief coverage as needed
• Monday is the busiest day, requiring comfort with higher patient volume at the start of the week

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense and review prescriptions in a moderate-to-high volume retail setting (average of 600 scripts per week)
• Provide thorough patient communication and counseling to ensure safe medication use
• Collaborate with an experienced team, including strong pharmacy technician support
• Utilize the EnterpriseRx order entry system and a newly installed robotic dispensing system to enhance workflow efficiency
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations

Qualifications and Experience:

• Retail pharmacy experience required
• Minnesota Pharmacist License required or willingness to obtain promptly
• Experience with EnterpriseRx preferred; willingness to learn quickly is essential
• Effective communication and counseling skills
