Staff Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy - Monon, Indiana

This opportunity is for a licensed pharmacist to provide essential support in a retail pharmacy setting within a hospital community pharmacy. The role involves ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medications, maintaining strict security protocols, and delivering high-quality patient care.

Location: Monon, IN
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Every other Saturday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill medication orders and verify technician-prepared products before release
• Maintain security of the pharmacy and controlled substances in compliance with regulations
• Enter orders and patient information into the system with precision
• Participate in a 3-day training/orientation prior to beginning the assignment

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Indiana Pharmacist license
• Experience in retail pharmacy settings required
• Familiarity with the PioneerRx order entry system is preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a business casual environment
• Local candidates only to allow for orientation and consistent weekday coverage
