Join a well-established community pharmacy as a Staff Pharmacist to provide crucial retail pharmacy services. This contract opportunity is based in Monticello, IN, supporting a regional hospital’s community pharmacy in Winamac, IN. The role requires a licensed Indiana pharmacist with retail experience, contributing to patient care through accurate medication dispensing and order verification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fill and verify pharmacy orders, ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Check technician-prepared products before release to patients.
• Maintain the security of the pharmacy and controlled substances in compliance with regulations.
• Enter orders and patient information accurately using PioneerRx (preferred experience).
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to uphold high standards of service and care.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Indiana Pharmacist License.
• Prior retail pharmacy experience is required.
• Familiarity with PioneerRx order entry system preferred.
• Commitment to professional business casual dress code.

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Every other Saturday coverage from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Three days of training/orientation required prior to starting the role.
• Local candidates only.
