Retail Staff Pharmacist - Monticello, IN

A retail pharmacy position is available for an Indiana Licensed Pharmacist at a community hospital pharmacy in Winamac, IN. This contract role begins June 29th and will continue on an ongoing basis until a permanent pharmacist is hired. The position requires local candidates and includes a mandatory three-day training and orientation before starting.

Location: Winamac, IN
Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (40 hours per week)
• Every other Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill prescription orders and verify technician-prepared products before dispensing
• Ensure security of the pharmacy and controlled substances at all times
• Enter patient and prescription information accurately using the PioneerRx order entry system (experience preferred)
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies in a retail pharmacy setting

Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Indiana
• Prior retail pharmacy experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with PioneerRx or similar pharmacy software is an asset
• Ability to maintain meticulous attention to detail and uphold pharmacy security standards
• Professional demeanor and adherence to a business casual dress code
