Retail Staff Pharmacist in Monticello, IN

Provide essential pharmacy services with a retail focus in a community hospital setting, ensuring accuracy and safety while supporting patient care.

Location: Monticello, IN (coverage includes Winamac, IN pharmacy site)

Schedule:

• 4-5 days per week (32-40 hours)
• Weekday shifts: 9am to 6pm, preferably including Thursdays and Fridays
• Weekend shifts: every other Saturday, 9am to 6pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill medication orders and verify technician-prepared products prior to release
• Maintain strict security of pharmacy operations and controlled substances
• Enter orders and patient information efficiently using the PioneerRx system (experience preferred)
• Collaborate with healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes within the retail pharmacy environment

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active pharmacist license in Indiana
• Proven retail pharmacy experience
• Knowledge of controlled substance regulations and inventory management
• Familiarity with PioneerRx order entry system is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
