Staff Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy | Monticello, Indiana

Provide expert pharmacy services as a Staff Pharmacist in a retail hospital community pharmacy setting. This opportunity requires a dedicated and licensed Indiana pharmacist to ensure the accurate dispensing of medications, maintain compliance with security protocols, and contribute to excellent patient care.

Location:

• Monticello, IN (Hospital Community Pharmacy in Winamac, IN area)

Schedule:

• 4-5 days per week (32-40 hours/week)
• Preferred consistent coverage on Thursdays and Fridays
• Every other week includes Saturday coverage
• Weekday hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday hours (every other week): 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill prescription orders and verify technician-prepared products prior to release
• Ensure the security of the pharmacy, controlled substances, and adherence to regulatory standards
• Enter patient information and prescription orders with precision using PioneerRx system (experience preferred)
• Collaborate with healthcare team to provide optimal retail pharmacy care

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid Indiana Pharmacist license essential
• Previous retail pharmacy experience required
• Familiarity with PioneerRx or similar order entry systems highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail in medication dispensing and record-keeping
• Ability to work independently and maintain pharmacy security standards
