Support a team of retail pharmacists serving community pharmacies in the Tucson, AZ area. This per diem opportunity offers flexible scheduling and the chance to join a growing group providing exceptional pharmacy services in a food and pharmacy store environment.

Location:

  • Based in Mount Lemmon, AZ with coverage supporting multiple pharmacy locations throughout Tucson.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert pharmaceutical care in a fast-paced retail setting with an average prescription volume of 100-125 per day.
  • Collaborate with a team of 2-3 pharmacists to cover call outs, vacations, and volume spikes across various sites.
  • Complete initial and ongoing training to ensure smooth pharmacy operations, including the management of pharmacist-only stores.
  • Utilize QS1 pharmacy systems effectively.
  • Deliver immunizations and follow current BLS protocols.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant pharmacy regulations and company policies.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a retail pharmacy environment.
  • Valid immunization privilege and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Proficiency in QS1 software preferred.
  • Ability to work part-time with availability for 2-4 days per week.
  • Strong communication skills and dedication to patient-centered care.

Schedule:

  • Pharmacy operations typically run Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with some locations extending to 8:00 p.m.
  • Flexible per diem shifts with training provided, including at least one dedicated 8-hour training shift.
