A retail pharmacy position is available for a dedicated Pharmacist in Sterling, Illinois. This permanent role offers a structured Monday through Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing consistent hours and a balanced workweek in a retail setting.

Responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating, preparing, and accurately dispensing medications in compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Performing medication reconciliation when possible to support a seamless continuum of patient care after discharge.
  • Providing exceptional customer service while delivering clinical care.
  • Consulting with patients about their prescribed medications, discussing dosage, administration frequency, special considerations, and potential drug interactions.

Ideal candidates will meet the following qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Illinois Pharmacist license.
  • Have at least one year of experience as a Pharmacist.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare providers.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of medication therapies and regulatory guidelines.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
