Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy - Nantucket, Massachusetts

Provide expert pharmaceutical care as a Staff Pharmacist in a retail/outpatient setting located on a scenic island. This contract role offers the opportunity to work alongside hospital-affiliated pharmacy services within a close-knit community environment.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense and manage medications accurately in an outpatient/retail pharmacy attached to a hospital.
• Utilize the McKesson EnterpriseRX system to process prescriptions and maintain records efficiently.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal medication therapy management.
• Provide excellent customer service with a positive and professional attitude.
• Cover a vacancy, maintaining consistent and reliable staffing during the assignment.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Valid MA pharmacist license.
• Proven experience in retail pharmacy settings.
• Familiarity with McKesson EnterpriseRX highly preferred.
• Availability for full-time daytime shifts (five 8-hour shifts per week).
• Strong communication skills and a great attitude toward patient care and teamwork.

Location & Schedule:

• Nantucket, MA – a unique island community accessible by ferry.
• Day shifts, Monday through Friday, five 8-hour shifts.
• Immediate start, approximately 13-week assignment.

Additional Information:

• Housing provided by the hospital in an apartment; due to a local housing shortage, shared accommodations with other travelers may be necessary.
