Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy - New Castle, Delaware

This position offers a dynamic hybrid role blending inpatient and outpatient pharmacy duties in New Castle, DE. The pharmacist will play a crucial role in managing medication operations by overseeing automated dispensing cabinets at both hospital sites and initiating daily cartfill processes. Flexibility to float to the retail pharmacy for dispensing tasks is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain medication inventory for automated dispensing cabinets at two hospital locations
• Initiate and oversee daily cartfill procedures to ensure medication availability
• Float to retail pharmacy as needed to support dispensing duties
• Utilize clinical judgment and knowledge to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must hold an active Delaware pharmacist license (in hand)
• Pharm.D. degree or B.S. Pharm. with equivalent relevant experience
• Proven clinical pharmacy skills in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Familiarity with Cerner and Omnicell systems
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
