Retail Staff Pharmacist - New Concord, OH

An opportunity is available for a skilled Staff Pharmacist with retail pharmacy experience to support a community pharmacy in New Concord, OH. This contract assignment is set to begin immediately and will last approximately 13 weeks. The role offers 40 hours per week with varied shifts, including weekend and holiday rotations, providing exposure to a dynamic retail pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and counsel patients on proper usage and potential side effects.
• Manage prescription processing, verify dosage and patient information, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Provide immunizations and assist with vaccination programs.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain inventory, handle customer inquiries, and support overall pharmacy operations.
• Utilize pharmacy software systems to maintain records and streamline workflow.

Qualifications:

• Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year current retail-based pharmacy experience.
• Valid vaccination certification is required upon application.
• Experience with RX30 pharmacy system is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
