Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist in North Las Vegas, NV

A retail HIV/AIDS specialty pharmacy in North Las Vegas, NV is seeking a dedicated per diem staff pharmacist for coverage starting June 1st. This unique opportunity involves working independently in a single-pharmacist site without the support of a pharmacy technician, managing a moderate prescription volume of 20-35 Rx per day. Training will be provided before your first day to ensure you are fully prepared.

Schedule:

• Monday, 6/1: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Tuesday, 6/2: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Wednesday, 6/3: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Wednesday, 6/10: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily prescription processing and dispensing in a busy HIV/AIDS specialty pharmacy setting
• Provide exceptional patient care and support, ensuring thorough communication and counseling
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and utilize QS1 pharmacy software efficiently
• Operate independently as the sole pharmacist on site, responsibly managing workflow and patient safety

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist with a valid NV pharmacy license
• Experience in retail pharmacy settings, preferably with HIV/AIDS specialty knowledge
• Ability to work confidently without a pharmacy technician on site
• Exceptional communication skills with patients and providers
• Strong organizational skills and commitment to punctuality and reliability
