A part-time retail pharmacist role is available at a grocery store pharmacy in Omaha, Nebraska, offering an ongoing contract assignment with a flexible rotating schedule. This position blends clinical accuracy with patient-focused customer service, supporting pharmacy operations and compliance in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions for accuracy and completeness
• Provide thorough patient counseling to ensure safe medication use
• Oversee daily pharmacy workflow and assist pharmacy technicians as needed
• Maintain compliance with all applicable state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Deliver excellent customer service in a retail setting

Schedule Details:

• Two-week rotating schedule with potential flexibility based on candidate availability and pharmacy needs
• Week 1: Sunday 10:00 AM–2:00 PM; Tuesday and Friday 9:00 AM–7:00 PM (24 hours total)
• Week 2: Tuesday 9:00 AM–7:00 PM; Saturday 10:00 AM–5:00 PM (17 hours total)
• Pharmacy Manager open to schedule adjustments

Candidate Qualifications:

• Active Nebraska Pharmacist license in good standing
• Recent retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong communication abilities and customer service focus
• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Flexible availability to accommodate scheduling needs
• Experience with McKesson Enterprise preferred but not required
