Staff Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy | Omaha, Nebraska

Join a dynamic grocery store pharmacy team in Omaha, Nebraska, as a Part-Time Retail Pharmacist. This contract opportunity offers an ongoing assignment with a flexible two-week rotating schedule designed to accommodate your availability and the pharmacy’s needs.

Schedule:

• Week 1: Sunday 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM; Tuesday 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM; Friday 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM (24 hours)
• Week 2: Tuesday 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM; Saturday 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (17 hours)
• Pharmacy Manager open to schedule adjustments

Responsibilities:

• Verify prescription orders ensuring accuracy and safety
• Provide patient counseling on medication usage and health concerns
• Oversee pharmacy workflow and provide supervision to pharmacy technicians
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment

Qualifications:

• Active Nebraska Pharmacist license in good standing
• Recent retail pharmacy experience is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with the pharmacy team
• Flexibility to adjust work hours as needed
• Familiarity with McKesson Enterprise preferred but not required
