Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy - Omaha, Nebraska

A part-time Retail Pharmacist position is available in a grocery store pharmacy located in Omaha, Nebraska. This ongoing contract assignment offers a flexible, two-week rotating schedule designed to accommodate both candidate availability and pharmacy needs.

Schedule:

• Week 1: Sunday 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM; Tuesday 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM; Friday 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM (24 hours total)
• Week 2: Tuesday 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM; Saturday 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (17 hours total) Note: The Pharmacy Manager is open to adjusting the schedule as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions for accuracy and completeness
• Provide patient counseling to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Oversee pharmacy workflow and support pharmacy technicians
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Nebraska Pharmacist license in good standing
• Recent experience in retail pharmacy preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Flexibility to accommodate scheduling needs
• Experience with McKesson Enterprise system is preferred but not required
