Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist in Ottawa, OH

Provide essential pharmacy services as a Staff Pharmacist supporting a community health center pharmacy during a week of vacation coverage. This per diem role offers the opportunity to apply retail pharmacy expertise in a dynamic environment, serving a diverse patient population. The position is based in Ottawa, OH, with Marion located about one hour north of Columbus, OH.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday, June 22 through Friday, June 26
• Shift: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform standard retail pharmacy duties, including dispensing medications, counseling patients, and verifying prescriptions.
• Collaborate effectively with a strong pharmacy technician to ensure smooth pharmacy operations.
• Utilize pharmacy systems to manage patient profiles and process prescriptions accurately.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and safety protocols within the pharmacy setting.

Qualifications:

• Must hold an active Ohio pharmacist license.
• Retail pharmacy experience is required.
• Previous experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or 340B setting is highly preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with Rx30 pharmacy systems is advantageous but not required.
