Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist - Phoenix, AZ

A retail pharmacy opportunity is available in Phoenix, AZ, seeking an experienced pharmacist to provide critical coverage on a per diem basis. This urgent backfill role is scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, February 25 and 26, with shifts from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The position operates within a retail pharmacy setting utilizing the Pioneer Rx system.

This role involves filling and dispensing prescriptions as prescribed, exercising vigilance to verify patient allergies before dispensing medications. The pharmacist will engage directly with patients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally while delivering excellent customer service. The pharmacy team includes one pharmacist and three technicians, managing a script volume of under 100 per day.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacist license in Arizona
• Minimum of 2 years of recent retail pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with dispensing procedures and patient safety protocols
• Strong communication skills to handle patient interactions effectively
