Per Diem Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy | Phoenix, Arizona

Location:

• Greater Phoenix, AZ area
• Various pharmacy locations within commutable distance; travel support available for farther sites

Schedule:

• Pharmacy hours: Monday through Saturday, typically 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM (some locations may close at 8:00 PM)
• Per Diem shifts available to cover vacations, call outs, and high-volume periods
• Ideal commitment: 2-4 days per week

Responsibilities:

• Provide proficient retail pharmacy services with an average daily volume of 100-125 prescriptions
• Collaborate within a small pharmacist team to support multiple pharmacy locations
• Administer immunizations and maintain compliance with BLS requirements
• Utilize QS1 pharmacy software to manage prescriptions and patient information
• Participate in a dedicated 8-hour training session to ensure smooth integration and readiness

Desired Experience:

• Minimum 1-2 years in a retail pharmacy setting; candidates with 5+ years preferred
• Valid immunization privilege and current BLS certification
• Prior experience with QS1 software highly beneficial
• Comfortable working independently in pharmacist-only sites as well as team-supported locations
