Join a dynamic pharmacy team serving the greater Phoenix area in a Per Diem role providing essential support during busy seasons. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling to accommodate your availability while playing a key role in maintaining seamless pharmacy operations.
Location:
- Greater Phoenix, AZ area
- Various pharmacy locations within commutable distance; travel support available for farther sites
Schedule:
- Pharmacy hours: Monday through Saturday, typically 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM (some locations may close at 8:00 PM)
- Per Diem shifts available to cover vacations, call outs, and high-volume periods
- Ideal commitment: 2-4 days per week
Responsibilities:
- Provide proficient retail pharmacy services with an average daily volume of 100-125 prescriptions
- Collaborate within a small pharmacist team to support multiple pharmacy locations
- Administer immunizations and maintain compliance with BLS requirements
- Utilize QS1 pharmacy software to manage prescriptions and patient information
- Participate in a dedicated 8-hour training session to ensure smooth integration and readiness
Desired Experience:
- Minimum 1-2 years in a retail pharmacy setting; candidates with 5+ years preferred
- Valid immunization privilege and current BLS certification
- Prior experience with QS1 software highly beneficial
- Comfortable working independently in pharmacist-only sites as well as team-supported locations
