A retail pharmacy opportunity is available for a skilled pharmacist to provide coverage primarily on Wednesdays and Thursdays in Phoenix, AZ. This per diem role supports a busy pharmacy team consisting of one pharmacist and three technicians, handling a daily script volume under 100 prescriptions using the Pioneer Rx system.
Responsibilities include accurately filling and dispensing medications prescribed by providers while verifying patient allergies to ensure safety. The pharmacist will also address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in line with organizational policies, maintaining excellent customer service standards. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Active, clear Pharmacist license in the state of Arizona
- Minimum of 2 years recent retail pharmacy experience
- Familiarity with retail pharmacy operations and workflow
- Ability to provide accurate medication dispensing and patient counseling
- Experience working efficiently within a pharmacy team environment

- Phoenix, Arizona
Schedule:
- Primarily Wednesdays and Thursdays preferred
- Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
