Retail Staff Pharmacist in Plymouth, IN

A pharmacy role is available for an Indiana-licensed pharmacist to provide professional staffing coverage in a hospital community pharmacy setting. The position requires 4-5 days per week (32 to 40 hours), with weekday shifts primarily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Coverage preferably includes Thursdays and Fridays, along with every other Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. This contract opportunity starts as soon as possible and involves working in a retail-focused environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurately filling medication orders and performing final checks on technician-prepared products before dispensing.
• Ensuring the security of the pharmacy and controlled substances at all times.
• Entering orders and patient information with high attention to detail.
• Collaborating with pharmacy staff to maintain operational efficiency and patient safety.

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Active Indiana pharmacy license.
• Prior retail pharmacy experience.
• Familiarity with the PioneerRx order entry system is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong commitment to compliance and accuracy in all pharmacy procedures.
