Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy | Pooler, Georgia

This per diem opportunity calls for a skilled staff pharmacist with retail pharmacy experience to support a managed pharmacy located in Brunswick, GA—just an hour south of Savannah and an hour north of Jacksonville, FL. This role provides a chance to contribute to a well-supported pharmacy team with strong technician assistance and make a meaningful impact on medication accessibility.

Schedule:

• Monday, 6/22: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Wednesday, 6/24: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday, 6/25: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday, 6/26: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Monday, 6/29: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations including opening and closing procedures
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure safe, accurate dispensing of medications
• Utilize pharmacy systems such as Datascan by WinPharm for prescription processing
• Maintain compliance with relevant laws and safety standards
• Provide excellent patient counseling and support

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Georgia pharmacist license
• Experience in retail/community pharmacy setting
• Prior experience supervising and managing pharmacy technicians
• Familiarity with 340B program is highly preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to efficiently manage workflow and ensure accuracy
