Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist in Pooler, GA

This per diem opportunity offers skilled pharmacists the chance to provide essential retail pharmacy services in a managed pharmacy setting located in Brunswick, GA. The site is conveniently situated approximately one hour south of Savannah, GA, and one hour north of Jacksonville, FL, making it accessible for candidates in the region.

Schedule:

• Monday, 6/22: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Wednesday, 6/24: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday, 6/25: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday, 6/26: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Monday, 6/29: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily pharmacy operations including opening and closing procedures
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with regulations
• Dispense medications accurately while maintaining exceptional customer service standards
• Utilize the Datascan by WinPharm system to support pharmacy activities
• Support adherence to 340B program requirements (experience preferred but not mandatory)

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Georgia pharmacist license
• Experience in retail or community pharmacy settings
• Proven ability to supervise and lead pharmacy technicians
• Familiarity with 340B program procedures is highly desirable
• Proficiency with pharmacy management software, especially Datascan by WinPharm, is an advantage
