A retail pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to work primarily day shifts in a busy, customer-focused environment. This role offers a 13-week contract to hire opportunity with a well-established pharmacy team. The position requires a strong commitment to patient care and team collaboration in a fast-paced setting.

Location:

  • Rathdrum, ID

Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Rotating Saturdays, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Saturday shifts come with a day off on Thursday or Friday)
  • Approximately 24-32 hours per week
  • 1st shift

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify prescription orders accurately and efficiently
  • Counsel patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and health management
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth pharmacy operations
  • Deliver excellent customer service consistent with the pharmacy’s team-oriented culture
  • Utilize the Pioneer pharmacy system to manage workflow
  • Manage a prescription volume of 300-400 per day

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active and clear pharmacist license in Idaho
  • Prior pharmacy experience in a retail setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Updated resume, completed skills checklist, and professional references

Team Environment:

  • Collaborate with 3 pharmacy technicians, 2 pharmacists, and 1 cashier

Contract Details:

  • 13-week contract to hire
