Retail Staff Pharmacist - Post Falls, ID

This retail pharmacy opportunity offers a 13-week contract to hire position for a Staff Pharmacist on the day shift in the Rathdrum, ID area. The role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in pharmacy who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Schedule and Location:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Rotating Saturdays, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Saturday shifts allow for a flexible day off on Thursday or Friday)
• 24-32 hours per week
• Rathdrum, ID

Responsibilities:

• Accurately verifying prescriptions to ensure patient safety and compliance
• Providing thorough patient counseling regarding medication use and potential side effects
• Supervising and supporting pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow efficiency
• Delivering exceptional customer service as part of a collaborative team consisting of 3 technicians, 2 pharmacists, and 1 cashier
• Utilizing the Pioneer pharmacy system to manage a volume of approximately 300 – 400 prescriptions daily

Qualifications:

• Active and clear pharmacist license in Idaho
• Previous pharmacy experience in a retail setting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with a focus on customer service
• Updated resume, completed skills checklist, and references upon application

Additional Information:

• This role begins as a 13-week contract to hire opportunity
