Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy - Rathdrum, Idaho

Join a dynamic retail pharmacy team in Rathdrum, ID, as a Staff Pharmacist working predominantly day shifts with a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role offers a balanced work schedule within a supportive team environment, focusing on excellent patient care and collaboration.

Work Schedule:

• Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Rotating Saturdays, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (if working Saturday, eligible for a Thursday or Friday off)

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Provide thorough patient counseling to ensure medication understanding and safety
• Supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth pharmacy operations
• Uphold high standards of customer service and actively contribute as a team player

Team Environment:

• Work alongside 3 pharmacy technicians, 2 pharmacists, and 1 cashier
• Utilize the Pioneer system to manage a prescription volume of 300-400 per day

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Idaho pharmacist license
• Previous pharmacy experience in a retail setting
• An updated resume, skills checklist, and professional references ready for review
