Retail Staff Pharmacist - Rathdrum, ID

A retail pharmacy opportunity is available for an experienced Staff Pharmacist to work primarily weekday first shifts with some rotating Saturdays in Rathdrum, ID. This 13-week contract to hire role offers the chance to join a well-supported pharmacy team focused on quality customer care and collaboration.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Rotating Saturdays, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (If working Saturday, one weekday off—Thursday or Friday)
• 24-32 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify prescriptions in a fast-paced environment with 300-400 prescriptions daily
• Provide clear and patient-centered counseling to customers
• Supervise a team of technicians to ensure efficient pharmacy operations
• Collaborate effectively with a team including 3 technicians, 2 pharmacists, and 1 cashier
• Utilize the Pioneer pharmacy system confidently

Qualifications:

• Active and clear pharmacist license in Idaho
• Previous retail pharmacy experience demonstrated by updated resume and skills checklist
• Strong commitment to customer service and teamwork with excellent communication skills
• References available upon request

This position begins as a contract role with potential for permanent hire. Once transitioned to full-time, comprehensive benefits are included such as:
