A retail pharmacy opportunity is available for an experienced Staff Pharmacist to join a team focused on exceptional customer care and collaborative teamwork. This position offers a 13-week contract-to-hire arrangement with a well-established pharmacy serving a high volume of prescriptions.
Location: Rathdrum, ID
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
- Rotating Saturdays, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm (Saturday shifts come with an off day Thursday or Friday)
- Approximately 24-32 hours per week
Team Environment: - Work alongside 3 pharmacy technicians, 2 pharmacists, and 1 cashier
- Utilize the Pioneer system for prescription management
- Manage daily prescription volume of 300-400 scripts
Responsibilities:
- Accurately verify prescriptions to ensure patient safety
- Provide patient counseling with a strong emphasis on personalized care
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient operations
- Uphold excellent customer service standards fostering a helpful, team-oriented atmosphere
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current, active pharmacist license in Idaho
- Proven retail pharmacy experience
- Updated resume, skills checklist, and professional references
