Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy | Redding, California

A busy retail pharmacy is urgently seeking experienced per diem pharmacists to support growing demands in Northern California. This role offers the flexibility to work as needed, making it an excellent fit for pharmacists seeking additional shifts or part-time hours.

Locations with openings include:

• Redding and Chico areas in Northern California
• Sacramento (3-4 positions)
• Bay Area/North Bay (2 positions)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive pharmacy services during assigned shifts
• Manage daily pharmacy operations including opening and closing tasks
• Oversee and support pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow
• Utilize McKesson's Enterprise (ERx) software proficiently for dispensing and record-keeping
• Deliver excellent patient care and ensure compliance with all regulations

Desired Experience and Skills:

• Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience
• Experience in pharmacy operations including opening, closing, and technician supervision
• Willingness to commute within the designated areas; flexibility to cover multiple locations as needed
• Adaptability to a fast-paced retail environment

Schedule & Work Type:

• Per diem availability to cover 1-2 shifts weekly on average
• Candidates should be comfortable with varied shift requests and locations

Additional Information:

• Mileage reimbursement provided for travel exceeding 30 miles one way to the store
